Piclaro is a product of and operates under VoxelXperts, and references to "Piclaro" in this policy include VoxelXperts where applicable to the underlying corporate entity.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, request a quote, place an order, use our Partner Dashboard, or otherwise interact with Piclaro. It applies to customers, prospective customers, manufacturing partners, and visitors to our site.

Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a salted hash), and company name where applicable.

Order information: shipping and billing address, uploaded design files (STL, STEP, OBJ, Gerber, and similar formats), quantities, material and finish selections, order history, and pricing/quote data.

Payment information: we do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and we retain only transaction references, amounts, and status.

Communications: messages you send us through contact forms, support tickets, or email, including any attachments.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, and usage data collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.

Partner information: for manufacturing partners, we collect business registration details, tax identifiers, equipment capabilities, bank/payout details, and photo-verification submissions used for quality control.

To generate quotes, process orders, and coordinate production and fulfillment.

To create and manage your account, and to authenticate access to the Customer and Partner Dashboards.

To process payments, payouts, invoices, and refunds.

To communicate with you about orders, quotes, account activity, and support requests.

To perform quality control, including the mandatory photo-verification step required before any shipping label is released.

To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Egypt and any applicable jurisdiction.

To improve our platform, services, and the accuracy of our automated quoting engine.

We process personal data on the basis of: (a) performance of a contract with you (fulfilling an order or quote), (b) your consent (e.g., marketing communications), (c) compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., tax recordkeeping), and (d) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the platform, provided those interests do not override your rights.

Manufacturing partners: order specifications and design files necessary to produce your order are shared with the relevant vetted manufacturing partner in our production network. Partners receive only the information required to manufacture and package your order.

Shipping carriers: name, address, and contact details are shared with shipping and logistics providers to deliver your order.

Payment processors: payment details are shared with our third-party payment processors to complete transactions securely.

Service providers: we use vendors for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tooling, bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information where required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Piclaro, VoxelXperts, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets involving Piclaro or VoxelXperts, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data is stored using Supabase infrastructure, including authentication, database, and file storage services, with row-level security policies restricting access based on account role (customer, partner, or administrator).

Uploaded design files are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel and the specific manufacturing partner assigned to fulfill the related order.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging, to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (generally a minimum of 5 years for financial records under Egyptian tax law). Uploaded design files may be retained for reproducibility of reorders unless you request deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (session management), essential site functionality, and analytics to understand how visitors use our platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the Customer or Partner Dashboard.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
